Three Trevecca alumni, Dana Henderson ’07, Melissa Eick ’07, and Timbre Cierpke ’05, are set to perform at the world-famous Carnegie Hall on April 17, 2010.
They will perform with Eric Whitacre, a renowned composer and conductor of classical choral, orchestral and symphonic music. Whitacre’s compositions were performed by the 3 women when they were students in the Trevecca Madrigalians a cappella choir. The 3 sent in a CD to audition in Whitacre’s nationwide call for vocalists. They were chosen as one of the few small groups that will perform for a concert featuring Whitacre’s choral works.
