While Trevecca’s campus is located on a hill, the weekend floods in Nashville did affect the campus. Today, Monday, May 3, campus personnel are assessing the damage from the unprecedented events of the weekend.
The most damage occurred in one building that houses plant operations and the print shop. Equipment and supplies were damaged.
Other damage occurred in the basements of some buildings, and these buildings are without electrical power today: McClurkan, Martin, Wakefield, and Greathouse.
Residence halls were not affected; students have food service, and other campus services are operating.
Today’s classes were canceled; final exams that were scheduled for today have been postponed until Thursday.
More information will be posted here as final assessments are completed.
