A reception recognizing and celebrating the donation of Dr. Millard Reed’s collection to the Thrasher Archives in Waggoner Library was held on Friday, May 7, 2010, at 1:00 PM.
The Trevecca Archives is the collective memory of the University, preserved for future generations of Treveccans. The materials contained in the archives tell the story of the people and events significant in shaping the school and the Nazarene Church. Reed’s collection of materials represent his years of service to Trevecca and to the Church of the Nazarene.
“We are very pleased to have added Reed’s collection of materials, and we anticipate that the arrangement of his collection and the finding aids developed will serve as models for future collections from important individuals in Trevecca’s story,” said Ruth T. Kinnersley, director of library services.
