Trevecca considering the sale of WNAZ

Trevecca has received an offer to purchase WNAZ, its FM station. As it has with previous offers, the University will evaluate and consider that offer within the context of current market values and the University’s overall programs.

The administration reassured employees and alumni that consideration of this offer does not diminish in any way the University’s commitment to retaining and supporting its mass communication degree with its emphasis options in radio, television, journalism, and film. Should the University sell the station, provisions have been made to ensure that students interested in broadcasting will have adequate experience opportunities in that field.

When the decision about the current offer has been made, the University will provide additional information.
