Helping Alabama--Trevecca's plan

Trevecca is actively engaged in assisting with relief work in Alabama. Jamie Casler, director of the J. V. Morsch Center for Social Justice, is coordinating those efforts and is working with the Nazarene disaster relief group in Alabama. A report about the weekend’s efforts is now posted on along with a list of  needed supplies.

A second trip to Alabama by members of the Trevecca Community is tentatively planned for May 21-22. If you want to participate, contact Jamie. If you would prefer to make a financial donation, information for doing so follows.

Monetary gifts should be labeled “Disaster Relief” and sent to the School of Religion. The account number to be used is Social Justice 10-000-2-7300. The office staff of the School of Religion will track the donations for the Center and will send the checks to the accounting office. These gifts are tax deductible.

Funds will be used to purchase items requested by the Alabama South District Church of the Nazarene. Teams from Trevecca will deliver those items to Alabama.

Thank you for your help to relieve the suffering of our neighbors who are suffering after the deadly storms.
