“Dig Pink” volleyball event to promote breast cancer awareness

Trevecca’s volleyball team will promote breast cancer awareness at its “Dig Pink” game on Tuesday evening, October 16, at 6 PM, in Moore Gymnasium on the Trevecca Campus.

The Trojans will battle Union University, a contest that promises to be exciting in itself; however, the evening also includes several additions to the game:  special guests; a silent auction; a pink-wearing crowd; introduction of the Trevecca women’s soccer team, the first soccer champions of the new G-MAC Conference; and a ceremony honoring Trevecca volleyball coach Jayme Crowley for her 100th win at Trevecca.

Trevecca athletic director Mark Elliott invites everyone to “wear pink” to the game in support of this effort to bring attention to breast cancer awareness and to bring their loud voices to cheer the Trojans.
