University hosts surrogates for candidates for president

Richard Exton, chair of the Davidson County Democratic Party, and Michael Sullivan, political director of the Tennessee Republican Party, will answer questions from listeners at a Presidential Town Hall Forum on Thursday, October 18, from 7 to 9 PM,  held in the Tarter Student Activities Center at Trevecca..

Designed to help the public, and particularly students, to learn more about the issues involved in the November election for President, this event will allow participants to ask questions about the platforms of the Democratic Party’s candidate, President Barack Obama, and the Republican Party’s candidate, Mitt Romney. The host for the town hall is Leory Pepper, PhD, chair of the Department of History at Trevecca.

Planned by Trevecca’s Office of Student Development, the event is free and open to the public, and free parking is available in the Tidwell Parking Lot, adjacent to the Tarter Center.
