The Skinner School of Business and Technology is pleased to announce that Brandee Norris, a healthcare professional with more than 11 years of experience in the healthcare industry, is the director of its Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) Program. Norris brings to the classroom a wealth of experiences in healthcare and education that include implementation of systems for information technology, account management, project management, proposal writing, and sales and marketing; corporate training of adult learners; and operational oversight of multiple healthcare facilities. In her most recent role, Norris served as the mid-western regional director for Corizon, Inc., the largest correctional healthcare company within the U.S.
Norris holds a BA in communication/journalism from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MS. in health services administration from Barry University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in human services with a specialization in healthcare administration from Capella University. Norris and her husband have a two-year-old daughter.
