At Tuesday’s annual meeting of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the regional accrediting agency, Trevecca Nazarene University was granted reaffirmation of its accreditation status. The action of the commission extends Trevecca’s accreditation for 10 years (to 2023). During this ten-year period, all SACSCOC member institutions must submit mid-point report. Trevecca’s mid-point report will be submitted in 2018.
Writing to the campus, Provost Steve Pusey said, “Thank you to those of you from across the campus who have been involved in the reaffirmation process over the last three years, and to all who work diligently each day to make certain that Trevecca achieves and maintains the high levels of excellence in its programs, services, resources, personnel, and in other areas that are demanded by the accreditation standards. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and help make Trevecca what it is.”
