Scholarships help make a college education possible for many students, and each year endowed scholarships provide approximately $500,000 of financial assistance to Trevecca students.
Students who want to be considered for University scholarships need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as early as possible. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov and use Trevecca’s code: 003526. Information about University scholarships is on www.trevecca.edu; click here.
Trevecca is pleased to announce that undergraduates can now apply for a new scholarship.
The Michael J. Toomey Scholarship was established by his friends and family as a way to honor Toomey’s life. Additionally, the founders wanted to increase awareness about and prevention of colon cancer, the disease that claimed Toomey’s life at age 53.
This fund will award an annual $1,000 scholarship to a Trevecca student who meets the application guidelines, one of which is to have been affected (the applicant, a family member, or friend) by colon cancer. Deadline for applying is September 15, 2014. Click here for the application.
