Trevecca Nazarene University

Campus is alive with music from Camp Electric

For the seventh consecutive year, Camp Electric was held on Trevecca’s campus during the week of July 7. This year 915 campers participated in this week of learning for young, aspiring Christian musicians: worship services, instrument clinics, production sessions, songwriting seminars, training in music business, participation in music groups, and evening concerts.

Christian artists who performed this week were the following: Capital Kings, Royal Tailor, We as Human, Tenth Avenue North, City Harbor, Toby Mac, KJ-52, and Building 429. Serving as the worship band for the week was Bellarive, from Orlando, Florida. The camp pastor was John Nix, founder and chief communicator of Vertical Purpose Ministries, a Memphis-based nonprofit organization.

Camp Electric will return to Trevecca’s campus next summer.
