Admission Requirements

General requirements for admission to master of education degree programs are required of all applicants. The four programs listed below have program specific requirements.

In addition to these admission requirements, Tennessee and Trevecca require all candidates to have a current criminal background check as prescribed by Trevecca’s School of Education. If candidates do not successfully clear the background check or any required additional background checks, they may be subject to dismissal from the program and Trevecca.
TNU/SOE will no longer accept an ID Employment Badge as proof of background check for security clearance for candidates in the initial licensure programs (UG and Graduate MAT).
