The Master of Arts in Teaching program is based on the foundation of the conceptual framework and state and national standards. Candidates will know and demonstrate the content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge and skills, pedagogical and professional knowledge and skills, and professional dispositions necessary to help all students learn.

National Secondary Standards
All secondary content standards are required in the undergraduate degree and with a passing score on the PRAXIS assessment. In addition, the standards are reinforced through methods courses.
