Admission Requirements
Individuals who have a baccalaureate degree and are seeking certification to teach may choose to take undergraduate level courses to meet the licensure requirements of the Tennessee Department of Education. The following steps are required for admission to the Post-Baccalaureate Program:

1. Submit a completed application and non-refundable $25.00 fee.
2. Meet with the coordinator of post-baccalaureate admissions for transcript analysis and discussion of available options.
3. Verify required GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
4. Submit two references on forms provided via the Future Students page.
5. Record of immunizations.
6. Provide two sets of official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work. Transcripts marked "Issued to Student" are not recognized as official transcripts. Official transcripts must be mailed directly form the university granting the undergraduate or graduate degree to:

Individuals who are already licensed as teachers may choose the post-baccalaureate program for renewal of license or for an additional area of endorsement. Steps #1 and #2 above are required prior to admission.
