Reading (PreK-12)
Empowering individuals to make the leap from the ordinary to competence, character, and compassion by becoming highly qualified master teachers.
The Master of Education in Reading provides prospective reading teachers with a concentrated focus appropriate to grades PreK -12. This program will enable teachers to develop expertise in design, delivery, diagnosis, and assessment of reading domains.
- Must have 18 months of successful experience as a licensed teacher
- Must have a current Tennessee teacher's professional license
- Appropriate for Pre K-12
- Classes meet on weekends
- 33 semester hours
- 30 semester hours for fall 2008 cohorts
