Student log-on instructions: (you may want to print this sheet for referral)

To log into Career Services Online:

Log into CSO system using a username and password of your choice.

If you are not a current user, click on “Click here to register” and add your profile information. You are asked to complete all fields.  Some fields are required.  The more complete your information, the more often you'll  appear when employers search the database.

To complete your profile:

  • Click my profile
  • You will see boxes containing Personal Information, Demographic information, Skills and Additional Information
  • Each box will have an Edit button on the top right corner.  Click to make changes.
  • Fill out the required(*) and requested fields in each box.     (You can choose more than one applicant type)
  • Save all changes
  • If you are in a pending status, you will not have an option to view jobs, schedules or employer recruiting until the Career administrator changes your status to 'active'.
  • ***Under “additional information”, if you do not allow for employer viewing, you will not be able to access any recruiting schedules and employers will be unable to view your resume when they search the database.

Upload your documents (resumes, cover letters, etc):

  • Click on My Documents
  • Choose Upload files
  • Click Browse to find your document
  • Select the document, and name it
  • Click Upload
  • When uploading more than one document, make sure your most generic resume is your default

Searching for Jobs and Internships

  • Click on Jobs
  • Use the drop down boxes in either the quick search or the advanced search to view positions
  • Click on the Job ID to see the specifics of the position and how to apply

 

NOTE: When you change your current record or create a resume, your information will go into a “pending” status until reviewed by Career Services. This is to insure that your resume is in an acceptable format for employers.
