Employer Research

Employer research is essential preparation for an interview. Only a small percentage of job candidates research the employer and know about the company/organization. What does it do? Who is the CEO? Who are the company’s clients? Who are its competitors? Is it public or private? What is its philosophy or mission statement? How does it treat its employees? How is its stocks trading? A copy of its annual report might be helpful. Its Web site is often helpful. There are many resources in the library and online to find out this information.
