Student Activities

People who have been around Trevecca for a while are very familiar with the word community; in fact, they have a way of working that word into conversations. Community is an important part of life at Trevecca. Most persons want to be a part of a group--a community--that shares similar goals and interests. Although the Trevecca “family” is quite diverse, there is a sense here that members of this community really enjoy living and working together.

Community might come about when one is playing a game of pick-up ball in the gym, throwing Frisbee on the lawn, or chatting with friends by the stream in the middle of campus; or it could happen in any of a hundred other ways when persons make connections with other people at Trevecca.

Life shared together in community is worth pursuing. In the 1600s John Donne wrote, "No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main." Members of the Trevecca community, do not want anyone to feel alone. In fact, Trevecca people will do everything they can to help students share life in Christ with each other.
