Jared Usrey, President

Jared is a senior from Jasper, AL and is a dual-degree student in Information Technology and Marketing. Jared previously worked in Student Government as the vice president in 2008-2009 and the sophomore class treasurer. He has an ambitious agenda for SGA with a vision of rebuilding SGA to preserve continuity from year to year. His platform was focused on "Rethink. Reunify. Reform" representing the three steps he sees as necessary to advance student government and student leadership on campus. He graduated high school from the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, AL as a math/science major. He can be a little bit of a dork (note: technology major), but wants to see the best for Trevecca - a school he is proud to attend.
Clifton Smith, Vice President

Clifton is a senior accounting major from Clarksville, TN. After serving as a Representative for the Sophomore class in the Spring of 2008 he continued in student government serving in '08-'09 as Junior class Treasurer . He feels blessed that God has provided the opportunity for him to serve others. He strives to live by the simplest of mottos: "When you are somewhere, be there."
Todd is a sophomore English major from Antioch, TN. This is his first year serving in student government, and he is thrilled with the opportunity that he has been given to help shape how student government communicates with the student body. His mission is to make sure that all students know exactly what is happening on Trevecca’s campus. He looks forward to what God has in store for Trevecca the rest of this year.

Emily is from Longview, TX and is an English major with Business Administration and Creative Writing minors. She has participated in SGA for the past two years as Class Representative and Secretary and now enjoys planning events as the Director of Social Life. She has five siblings and has learned to manage chaos through those experiences. Her goal is to expand the reach of students who are involved in coordinating the campus wide activities as well as create more personal events that students will enjoy and be proud of. She works in conjunction with SLAB to ensure that all events on campus run smoothly without overlapping us.

Lyle is a senior from Bradenton, Florida. He is studying Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Youth Ministry. He has been a part of Student Government for one year, and enjoys it immensely! He has a passion for environmental sustainability and it is what he looks forward to for his future career. He also has a passion for clubs and other student organizations on campus and is currently looking to write new legislation to help clubs become more independent, financially stable, and increase longevity. He wants to bring fun back to academic and intellectual forums by planning events like an All-School Spelling Bee and a Brain-Off. He graduated high school in 2006 from Lakewood Ranch High School.

Josh is a business management major from nearby Clarksville, TN. This is his first year as Intramural Commissioner after serving on the TIA committee since his sophomore year. As a graduating senior, he aspires to work wherever the Lord leads him. He is excited for the new challenges that await him this year and hopes to serve the student body well.

Rachel is a senior Graphic Design major from Graham, NC. Rachel serves as the editor of the student yearbook. This is Rachel’s third year to serve as the Darda editor. She has had a great two years as editor and hopes to finish out her senior year by producing one last yearbook to help preserve the students' memories for a lifetime.

Jalaine is a junior English major and Mission minor from Sarasota, Florida. This is her second year serving as the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper TrevEchoes. After focusing on quality content last year, this year the newspaper has added a focus on the aesthetic, striving for a more attractive overall look. In reflection on this year thus far, Jalaine said, "I've really fallen in love with the design aspect of newspaper. This summer we completely revamped the look of TrevEchoes. Students have been very positive about the new look, which makes me so happy because that's who it's about--the students."
