Matt Taylor , President

Matt, a senior religion major, is from Burlington, North Carolina. After serving as the 2006-2007 yearbook editor and the 2007-2008 director of social life, Matt was elected student body president. He has also served two years as the co-chair of the Nazarene Student Leadership Association, a position that is voted on by student government leaders from all of the Nazarene colleges and universities. Matt says that he is having the time of his life, looking forward to what God has in store for him the rest of his life.

Junior Jared Usrey, from Jasper, Alabama, is an information technology and marketing major with a concentration in management. His plans for his new role include obtaining more student input about what student government is doing, and he wants to create a sponsorship program for SGA activities that will help to enhance SGA-sponsored events. Jared’s favorite quote comes from Albert Einstein: "The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why."
 

Andrew Crimmins, Chaplain

From Port Charlotte, Florida, Andrew is a senior religion major and pastoral ministry Minor. Andrew is serving his second year in the position of student body chaplain. Building on a year of service and experience, his goals for this school year include the following: to continue to foster an environment where holiness may be lived out; to continue the dialogue with the surrounding community concerning its needs and producing areas of service that fulfill the needs of the communit; and to establish a working partnership with the University's new
J. V. Morsch Center for Social Justice Center to engage the student body in social justice issues. Andrew’s favorite quote is from C. S. Lewis: “Everything that is not eternal is eternally useless.”

Drew Vinson, Director of Communications

Drew is a senior religion major from Burlington, North Carolina. He served as 2005-2006 freshman class president, as well as director of communications last year.Drew enjoys being creative, which is something that his position thrives on.As director of communications he is directly in charge of making sure they know about campus activities. Drew wants to do more than simply communicate information to the student body; he wants to get them involved in what is happening so thatthey will be excited about what their SGA is doing for them.


Josh Kelley, Director of Social Life

A senior music business major from Owosso, Michigan, and the director of social life, Josh wants to work in any facet of the music industry and is anxiously awaiting a chance to make his mark. After a year as the director of student services, he decided that he likes planning events and creating opportunities for students to create memories that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. He plans to continue to improve the quality of events on campus as well as create more events that will reach a wider variety of students on campus.


Allie Gray, Director of Student Services

Allie is a junior from Greenwood, South Carolina, and an accounting major with a minor in missions. She senses a call to use her business skills in some way on the mission field. Allie played on the Trevecca volleyball team for two years. As director of student services this year, Allie plans to integrate clubs into planning events and having a presence on campus by helping them plan and advertise their events.She also plans to continue to promote all athletic teams and encourage good relationships between the teams and the students. Allie’s favorite quotation comes from her favorite professor: “God, please break my heart for the things that break your heart.”

Nate Hill, Intramural Director

Nate Hill comes to Trevecca from Tega Cay, South Carolina. He is an senior accounting major with career goals to work in the FBI. As intramural director he coordinates all student intramural activities in flag football, powder puff football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee.This year is Nate’s second as intramural director. Last year he added many new sports to the intramural program, including soccer, wiffleball, and water polo. His favorite quotation is “If you’re not first, you’re last.”



Rachel Brenneman

Rachel is a junior Graphic Design major from Graham, NC. Rachel serves as the editor of the student yearbook. This is Rachel’s second year to serve as the Darda editor. She had a great year last year and hopes to produce an even better book this year. Rachel also hopes to have a staff that enjoys working on the yearbook as much as she does.
