Steve Stride, Ph.D., serves as both the Director of the Career and Counseling Center and Assistant Professor in the Graduate Psychology Program. Steve received his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego California. He received his Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Pasadena California. He received his BA in History with an emphasis in Ancient Chinese History from California State University San Bernardino. Prior to moving to Nashville in 2007, Steve worked at Point Loma Nazarene University as full-time head staff counselor and part-time professor in the psychology department.
Steve was born and raised in San Diego, California. He came to Nashville with wife Leisha and sons Will and Seth. Steve enjoys spending time with family, listening to classic rock, playing basketball, traveling, going to amusement parks, eating hot wings and other not so healthy foods while cheering for the Chargers.
Kaye Williams, M.M.F.T., holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. She received her BS in Psychology and Sociology from Illinois State University. Kaye enjoys spending time with family, music and live theatre, traveling, and visiting historical sites. She provides individual, couples, and premarital counseling to students with personal and relationship issues.
