Student Government

Trevecca has a great history of dedicated and talented student leaders. This year's group of officers is no exception to this legacy of excellence. The Trevecca Student Government Assembly (SGA) consists of the Associated Student Body (ASB) officers and the various officers of the four classes (FR, SO, JR, SR). The ASB officers deal with matters relating to the entire student body, and the class officers, obviously, work on issues for their respective classes.

The ASB officers join with presidents and SGA representatives (2) from each class to form the official voting body of the SGA. They meet almost every Monday night during the school year and discuss issues of importance to the student body, including campus-wide social events, service projects, and spiritual initiatives.

SGA works closely with the student development staff throughout the year. Their administrative advisor is Michael Johnson, assistant dean of students for community life.
