Trevecca has had a history of dedicated and talented student leaders, and the 2008-2009 officers are not exceptions to this legacy of excellence. The Trevecca Student Government Assembly (SGA) consists of the Associated Student Body (ASB) officers and the various officers of the four classes (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors). The ASB officers govern matters relating to the entire student body, and the class officers, obviously, work on issues for their respective classes.
ASB officers and the class presidents and SGA representatives (2) from each class are the official voting body of the SGA. This group meets almost every Monday night during the school year in order to discuss issues of importance to the student body, including campus-wide social events, service projects, and spiritual initiatives.
SGA works closely with the Office of Student Development, with the help of Michael Johnson, Associate Dean of Students for Community Life.
