Current Production and Ticket Information

March 27, 28 and 29

This March, Trevecca proudly presents HOT ICE AND WONDROUS STRANGE SNOW, a highly entertaining collection of comedic, one-act plays directed by three of Trevecca's dramatic arts seniors.  These particular selections play with time, relationships, and the notions of theatrical convention and of theatre itself.

The title for this unique event springs from Act 5, scene 1 of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in which Theseus selects Peter Quince’s unseasoned troupe of players to perform Pyramus and Thisbe before the court.  In the spirit of exploring new ideas through shorter dramatic forms, each of these brief plays seeks to delight audiences who may not yet have experienced this kind of creative work.

Performances run March 27, 28 and 29.  All evening performances begin at 7:00 PM.  Each performance will be presented in the newly renovated Benson Theatre in McClurkan Hall on the campus of Trevecca.
