We are so happy you are part of this TNT@TNU! My prayer is that through this event each one of you can truly see how you can be the hands and feet of Jesus in your own special way! We realize that God has a plan, but sometimes we struggle to see how we can be a part of that plan. He has given each of you gifts and abilities that are specically designed for you! Let’s develop those this weekend, but also commit to use those for His glory when we return home!

This is the 33rd Annual TNT@TNU! There have been many people who have worked to make this event a reality. In fact, TNT@TNU began long before you arrived on campus. Top Nazarene Talent is a year-long program of the Southeast Field NYI (Nazarene Youth International). Its purpose is to give you and the other young people from across the Southeast an opportunity to develop and devote your talents, abilities, and gifts to be used for Jesus Christ.

There are some other important elements of TNT@TNU:

  1. To help you become a better disciple of Jesus through the relationships you build with other students and leaders throughout the competition.
  2. To build fellowship among all who participate and build a spirit of unity among the students of your district and all the districts of our great Southeast USA Field. Take the opportunity to make some new friendships and renew old ones.
  3. To emphasize the truth that each person is equal in God’s sight and has the same obligation to discover, develop, and share the gifts and talents God has given them in every way possible.

Another goal is to introduce you to Trevecca Nazarene University! TNT and TNU have the same goal: To help you become all that God wants you to be. TNU is a great place to help you develop your talents and gifts to be used in service for God. “From God, For God” is the statement that has been adopted to encapsulate the goal of the TNT event.

It’s my pleasure to serve as your Field Youth Coordinator. I am excited about the future of ministry on this great field. I hope to get to meet you and I hope that you seek me out and get a selfie to post with me. Who knows, best selfie may get lunch with the field coordinator by the end of the weekend.

Have a great time at TNT@TNU!

For the Sake of the Call,

Mike O'Hair
