Position Description

The Electrical and Computer Engineering program at Trevecca Nazarene University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will have expertise to support the development of the Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate program with primary emphasis in one or more areas of specialization related to electrical and/or computer engineering.

Primary responsibilities will include teaching a range of courses in engineering / general STEM education, advising, and serving on university committees.  The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence, a passion for mentoring undergraduate students through innovative engineering projects, broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices, and a strong commitment to the mission of the university.  In collaboration with our current engineering faculty, the candidate will also be instrumental in the ABET-accreditation process.

This position is open until filled.

A Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field is preferred, but candidates holding a master’s degree will be considered.
