Trevecca will be hosting three specific events October 24 and 25 to raise awareness about immigration among our student body, staff, faculty, as well as our neighbors and friends. These events each have a particular focus beginning with a film screening Monday night. After the film, a Trevecca student, Tabitha Sookdeo, who is also an undocumented immigrant, will be sharing her story. There will also be a panel discussion to follow led by Joel Tooley. On Tuesday, Oct. 25, Joel Tooley and Tabitha Sookdeo will be leading our morning chapel service which will be focused on the church's response to immigrants and refugees. Later that afternoon there will be a conversation led again by Joel Tooley and Tabitha Sookdeo. This conversation will focus on the statistics of immigration and refugees around the world and will be open to students as well as faculty.
