Dr. Aaron Hall, assistant professor of exercise science, and Dr. Yanice Mendez, associate professor of biology, with a group of Trevecca students will be going to Jinotega, Nicaragua, where their work will center on injury and infectious disease prevention in a rural population. The goal of the project is to introduce the students to the field of public health and its relationship to various other careers in the health sciences, including physical and occupational therapy, nursing, medicine and research careers. They will minister to a rural population served by the MisiĆ³n para Cristo.
