Bachelor’s programs place Trevecca among the state’s elite in graduate salaries

An education in one of Trevecca’s bachelor’s degree programs is rewarding in many ways.  New data confirms that the financial rewards, in the form of earning potential, represent one area where Trevecca students begin their careers with a real advantage.

According to GradReports’ 2021 list of Best Colleges in the U.S., students receiving a bachelor’s degree from Trevecca earn among the highest average salaries of all Tennessee schools when they enter the workforce.  Based on data reported by the U.S. Department of Education, GradReports awarded Trevecca the second-highest salary score in the state for its bachelor’s degree programs, second only to Vanderbilt University.

“We’re honored to see the value of a Trevecca education validated in terms of what students are earning when they graduate,” said Holly Whitby, Trevecca’s vice president of enrollment and marketing. “We constantly try to provide each student with a great foundation that they can build on for the rest of their lives, and our holistic approach certainly includes providing the best possible financial opportunities in their chosen field.”

GradReports’ salary score is based on median alumni earnings in the year after graduating. A school’s score is calculated based on the median alumni salary for each program compared to the median alumni salary for the same program at other schools. The overall score is weighted by student enrollment in each program.
