Nursing grads excel on national exam

Congratulations to the 2012 graduates of Nursing Program! Today, July 2, Trevecca received the following announcement:

“We are delighted to report that our 2012 nursing graduates from the Belmont/Trevecca partnership have achieved a 100% pass rate on NCLEX, the nursing licensure examination. We are so proud of these students and their accomplishments and look forward to hearing of their continued success,” said Martha Buckner, PhD, RN, the associate dean of nursing and executive director of Partners in Nursing at Belmont University.

Through the Partners in Nursing Consortium, students at Trevecca Nazarene University, Martin Methodist College and Columbia State Community College can complete degrees in nursing at Belmont after completing their first two years of college on their home campuses. A $7.5 million grant from the Hospital Corporation of America’s (HCA) Mid-America Division helped fund construction of Belmont’s new College of Health Sciences Building, which housed the Nursing Program.
