Biography
From childhood in Massachusetts to Opryland U.S.A. and today, in her Trevecca studio and classes, Dr. Abby Burke believes that we share—regardless of musical background and experience—an innate ability to use the human voice as an instrument and vehicle for music-making and textual expression. Knowing that the human voice can invoke a variety of emotions it has always been and continues to be, it is Dr. Burke's pleasure to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to unlock and free their inner spirit through the voice, listening and writing.
