Biography


Jasmine H. Davis, soprano, has portrayed operatic roles including Beatrice in Beatrice et Benedict, Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte, Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Frasquita in Carmen, Praskowia in The Merry Widow, Yadwiga in Enemies, a Love Story and has performed scenes as Mimi in La Boheme and Susannah in Susanah. In addition to past performances as an apprentice artist with Kentucky Opera and a young artist with SongFest, she is a regular soprano soloist with the Louisville Master Chorale out of Louisville, KY where she most currently sang soprano solos for Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass. She has also spent time as a jazz vocalist with Murray State University's jazz orchestras. She currently holds down a home studio in Louisville, KY in addition to her students here at Trevecca.
