Professor Jeff Cox currently serves as the coordinator of guitar and bass Studies. He still maintains a busy performing and recording schedule and feels blessed to be able to use his talents to entertain and educate others. He has always been fascinated by music, having studied multiple instruments —clarinet, bass clarinet, tenor sax, piano, guitar—but, it was not until his high school band director handed him a bass to play in the school's jazz band that he finally felt like he had found his voice. Cox has toured, performed and/or recorded with many well-known artists and groups including: Grammy Award winning jazz guitarist, Earl Klugh; Jazz Saxophonist and Flutist, Nelson Rangell; recording artists Tim Rushlow, and Trisha Yearwood; Christian recording artists Kathy Trocolli and Greg Long, and many more. He has also appeared on CBS, ABC, NBC, and PBS television networks in various television shows and specials.
