Rachel Bodell loves to empower students to transform business and their communities by enhancing their curiosity and skills as lifelong learners with deeper commitments to carefully thought out personal values. She is a full-time assistant professor of marketing at Azusa Pacific University (APU). Rachel is also an adjunct professor at Trevecca Nazarene University and Biola University. Rachel is a teaching excellence award winner and an ambassador of diversity. Her research and teaching expertise are in the arenas of values, motivation, consumer behavior, and ethical marketing strategies. She will be published this spring in the Christian Higher Education journal regarding the efficacy and impact of engaging marketing students in a faith and learning in action (FLA) project. She is currently writing a textbook for Emerald Publishing titled, The Evolution of Ethical Marketing in Fashion and Beauty. Her industry experience includes healthcare information technology, cosmetics, and hospitality—she has worked for companies such as Estée Lauder, CompuGroup Medical AG, and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in areas ranging from business development and marketing to sales, training, and customer service.
