About Trevecca Nazarene University

A Christian University in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, Trevecca is a private evangelical university whose mission is to provide education for leadership and service for its approximately 3,600 undergraduate and graduate students. The Skinner School of Business and Technology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in accounting to help staff Trevecca's growing business programs. This position will begin August 15, 2018, but an earlier start date is possible.

Teaching undergraduate and non-traditional graduate accounting in the undergraduate, MBA, and DBA programs. Duties will include teaching during the day, in the evening, and online as well as student advising and normal committee assignments.


All applicants must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, be able to articulate an evangelical understanding of the Christian faith, and have an understanding of the integration of faith and learning.

Candidates need a doctorate in accounting or a doctorate in business with 18 or more graduate credits in accounting. Preference will be given to those with an MBA, and a PhD or DBA. Applicants will preferably bring significant for-profit business experience.

The preferred candidate will have undergraduate and graduate-level teaching experience both face-to-face and online. A demonstrated passion for students and business-related disciplines is essential.
