Position Summary

Trevecca Nazarene University recognizes the importance of providing innovative undergraduate and graduate programs for adult learners and has a strong track record of serving nontraditional students since 1987. The School of Graduate and Continuing Studies provides education opportunities through face-to-face delivery in Nashville, Gallatin and Tullahoma and/or fully online.

The School of Graduate and Continuing Studies invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions for the discipline area of Strategic Finance for the MBA program, online and face-to-face on the main campus location.  

Course Description: Integrates many of the financial concepts that managers need to understand. These concepts include capital budgeting, break-even analysis, working capital management, financial instrument valuation, cost of capital, and the risk and return trade-off. Emphasis will be on the application of concepts and techniques in the analysis of cases.

Qualifications

  • Strong Christian focus and ability to lead and teach with faith and learning integration
  • Completed doctoral degree from a regionally-accredited institution required
  • Graduate degree in business-related field preferred (MBA, PhD, DBA)
  • Able to clearly document through transcripts at least 18 hours in finance or a closely-related field.
