Tenure-track Faculty Position

Position

Trevecca Nazarene University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track, faculty position in exercise and sport science. Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate courses in the Exercise and Sport Science Department as well as graduate courses within the newly developed Masters in Human Performance and Fitness. The position involves assisting in the oversight of the practical experiences of students and mentoring /advising exercise science majors as they progress through their programs of study.

Qualifications

Those with a masters or doctorate in exercise science or related sports medicine field and with at least 18 graduate credit hours in exercise science or sports medicine are encouraged to apply.  Preference will be given to those candidates who can demonstrate a passion for equipping and empowering undergraduate students with skill sets required to be successful at the graduate level, entry-level careers, as well as a strong commitment to the ideals and mission of the university.
