Opportunity

This position offers a chance to work on one of the South’s most dynamic urban farms, a mile south of Nashville’s downtown—a growing city with a burgeoning food and farm culture, as well as a vibrant music and intellectual culture. Working on a university campus and sharing this important work with enthusiastic young people is inspiring and enriching. Partnering and consulting with different university departments allows us to access a wealth of knowledge and experience in order to build an excellent farm that rightly engages its communities.

Our proximity to human need—our location in a food desert—gives our work meaning as we share our farm with neighbors and visitors. This is an opportunity to shape a thriving urban farm hub into a regional and national leader in urban farming and sustainability practice. Additional opportunities will include tuition remission for degrees at Trevecca Nazarene University as well as the potential for traveling domestically and abroad for agriculture training and exchange.
