In the Department of Biology, the home of Trevecca’s comprehensive biology degree program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of the life sciences while developing the critical thinking and laboratory skills needed for success in scientific careers and graduate programs.
You’ll build a strong foundation through core coursework in biology, ecology, genetics, chemistry and statistical analysis, while also gaining hands-on experience in a variety of settings. Trevecca offers unique on-campus learning environments, including a fully functional farm and greenhouse, as well as access to a cadaver lab through a partnership with our physician assistant program.
Our renovated facilities and state-of-the-art equipment support undergraduate research opportunities, allowing you to apply what you learn in meaningful ways. You’ll also have opportunities beyond campus through internships and other experiential learning.
