Trevecca offers students a variety of intentional activities to stay engaged and enjoy sharing life together. Each year there are well over 100 activities planned to meet the social, academic, spiritual, emotional, and wellness needs of students. Some highlights include the following.

Welcome Week

Each school year is kicked off with a week filled with student activities. Trevecca traditionally begins with worshipping together at All-School Praise and Worship and continues throughout the week enjoying traditions like the Block Party and Dodgeball tournament, as well as new and creative activities.

One of the students’ favorite events each fall, Paintapalooza, is a paint themed event with spin-art, loud music, and a giant paint war!

Trevecca hosts several concerts each year meeting a wide array of taste — from praise and worship to hip-hop. Some recent concerts include Jon Foreman, Gungor, GRITS, Phil Wickham, Aaron Gillespie, Seryn, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, Jars of Clay, Dave Barnes, The Westbound Rangers, Paper Route, Jimmy Needham and many more!

The last Saturday before final exams, Trevecca goes all out and hosts Boonearoo — an all-day music and arts festival. The campus quad is filled with food trucks, carnival games, zip-lines, rock walls, and live bands including national acts, local artists, and some of Trevecca’s own student bands.

Trojan Idol

Trojan Idol is Trevecca's take on the famous vocal competition — a high production event that showcases some of our best talent as student performers compete in front of judges and the audience votes for the winner.

Film Forum Series

This monthly series allows students to screen a film and follow up with a discussion of themes with faculty facilitators. Films have included Dead Poets Society, Dark Knight, Noah, Soulfood Junkies, Shawshank Redemption, and more!

Friday Night Live

Live from Trevecca, it’s Friday Night! This comedy sketch show is a high-energy, extremely funny event that parodies campus situations and is just plain fun in the vein of “that other sketch comedy show!”

All-School Retreat

Students are offered the opportunity to take several trips and enjoy off-campus activities as well. All-School Retreat is a wonderful time each winter when we head to the Smoky Mountains for a weekend of fun, building relationships, and spiritual deepening.

TNU Homecoming is a special time each fall. Students participate in many events including Homecoming Parade, Trojan Madness late-night pep rally, Homecoming Banquet, and the coronation of Homecoming Queen and King.

72 Hour Film Festival

Students form a team and have 72 hours to produce a film in the genre they pick from a hat! The films are then screened at the premier in Nashville’s historic Belcourt Theater with red-carpet fanfare and awards for different categories.
