Aimee completed her undergraduate and doctoral studies at Trevecca. She served as an adjunct professor for several years before joining the graduate counseling program as a full-time faculty member. She is a licensed professional counselor with mental health service provider designation in Tennessee. Prior to joining the team at Trevecca, she worked in an agency setting. As she transitioned into her role as faculty member, she also began seeing clients in a private practice setting. She meets with a variety of clients, but most often sees individuals with trauma history. Her teaching specialties are group therapy, theories of counseling & psychotherapy and career counseling & development. She also serves as an academic advisor; provides supervision for student internships; and is the faculty co-chair of the Trevecca chapter of the Chi Sigma Iota national honor society. She strives to be an accessible, helpful and knowledgeable source of positivity in her students' Trevecca experience. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog as they take mini road trips, visit family in Kentucky and take on home improvement projects.
