Craig Adams, a 1991 graduate of Trevecca, serves as dean of the School of Music and Worship Arts. His lifelong connection to the University reflects both its lasting influence on his life and his commitment to academic excellence. Craig returned to Trevecca to complete his master’s degree in 2024 while beginning doctoral studies. A five-time Dove Award winner, Craig brings more than 40 years of experience as a music producer, songwriter, arranger, orchestrator and creative director, helping shape Christian music and worship experiences across generations.
In addition to his distinguished professional career, Craig has faithfully served in local church worship ministry for four decades, combining artistic excellence with pastoral leadership and spiritual depth. He is also a published devotional writer, contributor to “The Worship Bible” and former radio talk show host. Craig embodies the qualities Trevecca seeks to cultivate: creative excellence, spiritual leadership, academic rigor and a deep love for the church. He and his wife, Deanna, live in Franklin and have two adult children, Maddie and Hayden.
