Jeffrey T. Phillips is an adjunct professor of trombone and French horn. He holds an undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University, graduate degrees from Western Kentucky University and Austin Peay State University and post-graduate degree from California Coast University, as well as a Fellowship (FRSM) in Trombone Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Jeffrey has a long and distinguished career in secondary school education, including nearly three decades serving as director of bands at the prestigious Hendersonville High School.
As a performer, he remains active as a freelance trombonist and serves the American School Band Directors Association (ASBDA) as the Chair of the Goldman-Harding Awards Committee. Jeffrey is bi-vocational pastor at Saundersville United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, Tenn.
He is a resident of Tennessee and enjoys spending time with his two rescue dogs, Crockett and Daisy.
