Joanne is professor of pastoral care for the Christian ministry online degree program at Trevecca. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in religion and psychology from Liberty University; a Master of Arts in Christian psychological studies from Richmont University; and a Doctor of Ministry in leadership and spiritual formation from Portland Seminary. She has served in full-time ministry across the Southeast as a pastor, administrator and faculty member for training ministers. Joanne has written and taught curriculum for Trevecca for about 10 years. She resides in Atlanta with her husband, Dr. Richard Holz. They have a daughter, a son-in-love and two grandchildren.
