Dr. Jo Ellen Werking Weedman leads Trevecca’s multimedia journalism program and oversees The TrevEchoes, the university’s award-winning student newspaper. She also directs the social media strategy for Trevecca’s digital media student publications. She is the founder of Werking Communication, a strategic communication consulting firm, and has more than two decades of experience in both daily newsrooms and nonprofit communication and marketing. Dr. Werking Weedman is the proud mother of four daughters and an enthusiastic novice backyard gardener.
