Julie serves as Associate Professor of Leadership Studies and Director of the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Bachelor of Arts in Management and Leadership programs at Trevecca Nazarene University. She holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Professional Practice, with research focused on mentoring and graduate student success. Julie is passionate about helping students discover their unique strengths and empowering them to lead with integrity and purpose. A recipient of Trevecca’s Excellence in Teaching Award, she integrates innovative teaching strategies and emerging technologies into her courses.
Julie is a certified practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and frequently conducts workshops on the MBTI, leadership, emotional intelligence and conflict management. She has published and presented on leadership and conflict management at a national conference. Alongside her fulfilling work in higher education, Julie enjoys cooking, gardening and time with family and friends. She is a member of Estill Springs Church of the Nazarene.
