Karl brings extensive professional experience in data analytics, project management, information technology and enterprise computer systems to his work with university students. He serves as an adjunct faculty member in Trevecca’s MBA program, teaching graduate-level courses in project management, risk analysis, scheduling and IT systems analysis.
In his professional career, Karl has led complex, multimillion-dollar technology initiatives spanning data-driven decision-making, business intelligence, cloud computing, infrastructure modernization and digital transformation. His experience includes leadership roles with HCA Healthcare and National Aerospace Solutions, where he has managed enterprise IT programs and supported mission-critical technology initiatives for the Department of the Air Force. He has worked across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud environments and has led the implementation of enterprise technologies including Splunk, ServiceNow, Dynatrace and MicroStrategy.
Karl holds a Master of Science in computer information technology with an emphasis in project management from Regis University. His teaching draws on his experience connecting analytics, technology, project management and organizational leadership to help students understand how data and information systems support effective decision-making and successful project delivery.
