Kathy served as the dean of the School of Business at the University of Mobile for nine years prior to her retirement in May 2026. At Trevecca, she teaches two courses in the DBA core curriculum and provides dissertation advising for DBA students.
Kathy has acquired diverse and profound instructional experience in multiple levels of accounting and finance during her career. She served as the president and sole shareholder of Continental Lending, Inc., and held tax accountant positions with QMS, Inc. and Masland Carpets, Inc. She is a member of American Accounting Association, Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Management Accountants and the Alabama Association of Accounting Educators. She is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Family Health Clinics for the Mobile County Board of Health, and chairperson of the Audit Committee as a board member of Commonwealth National Bank. She loves the outdoors, and especially enjoys beach settings and hiking adventures.
