Lanette is the instruction and serials librarian at Trevecca’s Waggoner Library. Her primary responsibilities include providing library instruction for traditional undergraduate students and overseeing the library’s journal subscriptions. She also provides reference services for students and faculty and serves as liaison to the departments of Communication Studies; English; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Lanette received an MLIS from Wayne State University and a B.A. from MidAmerica Nazarene College (now University). She is a member of the Association of Christian Librarians. Lanette has worked in both academic and public libraries with areas of responsibility that included interlibrary loan, circulation, collection services, reference and outreach. She has also been a high school teacher and worked in pharmaceutical research. Lanette enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and reading historical fiction. She and her husband, Mark, have two grown daughters.
