Miller is a Memphis native, but has called Nashville her home for the majority of her adult life. She received her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University. Miller is an AAMFT certified supervisor and much of her time in the Director of Counseling Services role is spent supervising graduate counseling students working at the Trevecca Counseling Center. Miller’s approach to working with students and supervisees is collaborative, holistic and person centered. She hopes to create a welcoming community at the Counseling Center for students to feel comfortable to be who they are—right where they are in life. In her free time, you will most likely find her sitting on her front porch, in a good conversation, on a walk with her dog Ellie or binge watching a show.
