Phil is a certified public accountant with professional experience in accounting, finance and strategy in energy industries. He has also served in ministry and administrative roles for nonprofits. Prior to assuming the dean position at Trevecca, he provided university instruction for 30 years in business disciplines that included accounting, finance, business law, management, public administration and strategy. He is passionate about equipping faculty for excellence in instruction and mentoring of students. He also is driven to manage the Skinner School of Business through innovative initiatives, strategic business concepts and biblical principles. He and his wife, Connie, have two sons, Brock and Nick.
