Rebecca Owens has more than 30 years of experience as a public-school attorney in Tennessee. She has served as president of the Tennessee Association of School Administrators (TASPA) and president of the Tennessee Council of School Board Attorneys (TCSBA). She has also served on the board of directors of the Tennessee Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) and the Southeastern Association of School Business Officials (SASBO). She has taught education law classes at Trevecca and at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
